Mangrove Pitta Homestay is a serene retreat located on the outskirts of Bhitarkanika National Park, easily accessible via Google Maps. Established in November 2018 by wildlife guide and naturalist Bijay Kumar Das, the homestay offers a perfect blend of comfort and nature.

The property features a three-storey building with a total of 10 well-appointed rooms. The ground floor includes 4 rooms, a dining area, and a beautiful garden. The first floor also has 4 rooms along with a spacious balcony, while the second floor offers 2 exclusive rooms with private balconies.

Out of the 10 rooms, 6 are double-sharing and 4 are four-sharing, comfortably accommodating up to 28 guests. Each room is equipped with attached western-style bathrooms and geysers, and 6 rooms are air-conditioned for added comfort. Guests can relax in the lush garden or enjoy the scenic beauty of the pink lotus ponds. A campfire experience is also available in the garden (on request and at an additional cost). Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property.

All meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—are included in the room tariff and served in buffet style. The menu features fresh local non-vegetarian delicacies such as fish, prawns, chicken, and crab, along with a variety of vegetarian dishes including seasonal vegetables and paneer to suit every preference.
